I grew up eating steamed artichokes and then I would just dip them in ranch My parents would only get that like once a month all of us would go crazy for a plain steamed artichoke with ranch I'm broadening my horizons today. I'm gonna make a baked artichoke I've never had a baked or a stuffed artichoke before I know that this is about to change my life Cut off the top and the bottom so that it can stand straight up like that You also just clip a little bit off of these leaves let the artichoke soak in this lemon water Face down while the artichoke soak i'm gonna dice up two medium shallots. I feel like it should work just as well be weird If it didn't adding about a cup of water Pressure cook high for 20 minutes while the artichokes cook i'm gonna finish the rest of this stuffing We're gonna do like half a cup of butter making this shit good. I don't know what else to tell you Sorry about it. You don't have to add this much butter if you don't want to adding our shallots and garlic good amount of salt Also some pepper this smells magical right now. I wish you could smell this and add a little bit of white wine Also lemon juice i'm gonna do one full lemon that's simmering i'm gonna do about two cups of breadcrumbs to a medium bowl Oh shit. Thank god. I didn't need more that would have been bad eating a good amount of parmesan cheese in here Measuring with my heart today. I feel like you really can't mess this up. I guess we'll find out actually I have no idea i've never done this before roughly chop some parsley and basil and then we're gonna add that to the bread Crumbs the liquid has reduced a good amount. We're gonna add that to the bread crumbs. We're gonna preheat the oven to 375 pour this into our breadcrumbs. We're gonna mix this all together add a bit more salt other than that This is perfect. The chokes are done natural release Oh, baby Now we're just gonna stuff it with our stuffing I think I actually might have steamed it a little bit too long Only time will tell I wanted to steam it and then stuff it so the breadcrumbs weren't all soggy But maybe that isn't the way to do it. We'll see how this turns out. It's really opened up after a couple drinks Completely gonna cover this in parmesan gonna put this in the oven for 15 minutes Oh my gosh, look at that. The way to eat artichoke is you just put it in your mouth scrape off the flesh with your teeth This tastes amazing i'm surprised i've never had an artichoke like this before This is the best part of the artichoke. Once it looks like this you can kind of carefully. There you go Take a spoon you go around it I think it should come out perfectly. This is the best part The heart of the artichoke is literally gold. It just tastes like artichoke that you are scraping off of the leaves Need 10 more
