Spoken transcript

Wonton noodle soup. It only takes one pot, 10 brain cells, and 20 minutes. So let me show you how it's done. Starting off with some limp green onions that talked a big game all week. They don't have to be limp, I just neglected mine. And then just separate the white sides from the green sides. Now in some boiling water, quickly blanch some bok choy, and then just move that over to an ice bath, and then we're just gonna drop in our fresh wonton noodles. And because these are fresh and so thin, they cook in about 45 seconds. Now empty that pot, add in a little bit of sesame oil, some grated garlic, and ginger, and the whites of our green onions. Then saute over medium heat until fragrant, and then add in your chicken bone broth. Then go ahead and season it with soy sauce, Shaoxing wine, chicken bouillon powder, a little bit of sugar, white pepper, salt, and a pinch of MSG. And then just bring that up to a simmer. So... small problem. I thought I still had wontons left, but it turns out I ate them all. So I'm just going to use soup dumplings. And then once your dumplings are floating, go ahead and serve.
