APPLE CIDER DONUTS ✨ Been waiting for this season bc of these 🍁🍂✨
Ingredients:
• 1 box spice cake mix (15.25 oz)
• 1/2 cup apple sauce
• Reduce 2 cups apple cider on the stove until about 1 cup remains
Instructions:
1️⃣ Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a donut pan.
2️⃣ Mix the cake mix with applesauce & the reduced cider until smooth.
3️⃣ Spoon or pipe batter into pan about ⅔ full.
4️⃣ Bake 15-18 minutes, until donuts spring back when touched. (Left mine for about 17 mins)
OPTIONAL:
5️⃣ While still warm, brush donuts with melted butter or apple cider, then roll in cinnamon sugar for that classic cider donut finish.
